Abstract

In this paper, an interaction model between track and sandy soil is designed based on discrete element method. The parameter measurement and numerical modelling of sandy road with low moisture are established by discrete element software EDEM, and the numerical simulation of traction tests between a certain type of track and sandy road is carried out. The sand trafficability law of the track at different speeds is obtained, which provides good literature contribution for the traction test method of tracked vehicle.
