Abstract

Mapping and Interpreting Surfaces Of A Place, a growing, organic large scale drawing installation for New Mills Festival. Based on the narrative of walks around New Mills artist Simon Woolham and members of the community will engage with the spaces and surfaces through the physical process of creating and collecting rubbings from the interior and exterior surfaces of the architecture around the town.
