Performance of a cross-aperture coupled single feed circularly polarised patch antenna

Abstract

A novel method for radiating circular polarisation (CP) with a patch antenna without AN external polariser has been investigated. It has the advantage of improving the axial ratio bandwidth for single feed CP antennas by using a thick air substrate and inverted patch configuration.
