Abstract

This book is a cross-section of French and Italian narratives, dedicated in particular to the Normandy Landing and the Gothic Line in Tuscany, and which tells the daily story of the tragedy of men and women of all ages and social conditions. These narratives, which are full of emotions, with different tongues and accents, lend themselves to various readings: historical, phenomenological, psycho-cognitive, linguistic, anthropological, literary approaches.
