Abstract

Field recordings are made of an exhibition space in Oxford while it is being set up for an exhibition and festival of sound art. The recorded sounds are then performed on the opening night, thereby questioning the idea of performance and preparation, of work sounds and art sounds, also noting the element of time and the sense of a space being denoted by its ever-changing sounds.
