Abstract
Settled bed concentration is an important design parameter for solid handling pipelines. In the present investigation parameters affecting settled bed concentration have been identified and their effect on settled bed concentration has been experimentally determined. Further, the composition of settled bed in the suspension of multisized solid liquid mixture has also been experimentally determined and its settling characteristics have been discussed.
