Abstract

The Creative Loop Challenge is a competition run by TIP, a research group from the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Huddersfield, in partnership with the The Knitting & Crochet Guild. Together, we aim to preserve and develop the rich history of knitting, crochet, and the textile industries of West Yorkshire.

Our projects—including The Creative Loop Challenge—engage a new generation with these traditional crafts, giving them a modern and relevant twist.
