Abstract
This article explores a subject highlighted in issues 30 and 31 of Post-16 Educator: the increasing use of FE as a source of profits for private companies (Waugh 2005; Yarker 2006). It explains some of the disturbing side effects that business involvement has upon teaching and learning in colleges.
