Abstract
This essay poses a theoretical solution to reshaping the objectifying and gender-specific readings of contemporary artworks by developing the Intersubjective Cyborg Extension. The theory is culmatively composed through observing theoretical approaches to man's new extensions, becoming the 'Other,' and Intersubjectivity. The approach is later applied to contemporary musician Björk, to demonstrate how the theory can be located and applied to popular music culture.
