Abstract
In this chapter, we turn to the experience of precincts amongst visitors and other consumers of ‘ place ’ . Whilst the precinct itself has received the attention of urban tourism researchers, particularly from planning, economic, and geographic perspectives, the experience of tourists within these spaces has been somewhat neglected.
