This Is Not A Duvet Upcycle Challange 2024

My outfit for the upcycle challenge presents a timeless aesthetic (not a trend focused look) achieved through ethical processes. In this design I enjoyed pattern-cutting and manipulating the silhouette with fullness and volume. In the bodice I created a CF fold/cowl shaping which, (when cut on the bias) has produced a unique embellished-tuft formation. I created a raglan-type sleeve with fullness at the cuff to compliment the bodice shaping and a midi-length lantern skirt length to balance features and details within the cowl fold. Overall, I love the simplicity of the silhouette and the resulting embellishment-tuft pattern.
