Abstract
Globally, there have been close to 130 million reported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as of 2nd April 2021, with 2.8 million deaths documented [1]. In order to reduce the risk of mortality associated with COVID19, several drugs have been repurposed for its treatment.
