Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To investigate whether withdrawal of antihypertensive medicines is feasible, and evaluate the effects of withdrawal of antihypertensive medicines on mortality, cardiovascular outcomes, hypertension and quality of life in older people.
