Abstract
Several of the modules offered on the part-time M.Sc. Social Research and Evaluation at the University of Huddersfield are resource-based. They were introduced as a means of giving small numbers of students a wide choice of optional modules without the resource implications associated with traditional forms of delivery. In particular, the module 'The Use of Computers in Social Research Methods' is offered in a resource-based form and its delivery combines a variety of approaches.
